The dramatic live-fire grill provides a spectacular back-drop to a refined ‘industrial’ interior fit-out. We worked closely with the design team to produce joinery that comprised leather, oak, upholstery, blackened steel and fire-rated glass. Materials and finishes were selected and manufactured to help define a perfect dining environment that exudes warm hospitality. Specialist sound absorbing ceilings and marmorino plaster walls make the diners experience subliminally more intimate.

The industrial cooking ranges are extracted via a fire-rated stainless steel canopy and are ducted to roof level over 50 metres away. A sophisticated ecological smoke-filtration system was incorporated to eliminate smoke and odour discharge. As with many of our projects, the harmonious interior fit-out masks the technically complicated systems that are critical for smooth restaurant operations and that lie hidden behind the scenes.
