The hotel’s long-standing design and architectural relationship with Forme UK has seen the transformation of the hotel lobby into a new modern and sleek environment that reflects the understated opulence of the wonderful 144 rooms and suites above.

The evolution of the Como Metropolitan London concept combines rich walnut timber wall cladding with distressed leather panelling, courtesy of the world-renowned leather specialist. British artist, Giles Miller provided a unique ceramic textured frontage to our main reception and concierge desks whilst we merged an internal fire place with an external water fountain to offer comfort and intrigue to any guest waiting in the lobby.

We manufactured seamless demountable hoardings, and temporary reception desks to ensure that the guests’ experience was not compromised in any way. Our ability to be flexible and accommodate the hotel’s challenging working restrictions was something that we are particularly proud of (and comfortable with). We brought all the various building and manufacturing disciplines together to create a finished product that is worthy of the hotel’s reputation.
